• Ajomäärä: Mercedes-Benz G-sarja -autoilla on ajettu keskimäärin 19 % vähemmän kuin samojen vuosien henkilöautoilla yleensä. Vertailussa on otettu huomioon autojen ikä.
• Yleisyys: G-sarja on 35. yleisin malli 51 mallin joukossa luokassa suuri katumaasturi.
• Ikä: Autot ovat suunnilleen yhtä vanhoja kuin luokan autot keskimäärin (10,2 v).

Luvut ovat Suomen liikenteessä olevista G-sarja -autoista, eivät valmistajan esitteestä. 100 % autoista on automaattivaihteisia ja 75 % polttomoottoreista on ahdettuja.

G-sarja takaisinkutsut

EU:n Safety Gate -järjestelmään on vuodesta 2015 kirjattu 18 Mercedes-Benz G-sarja -mallia koskevaa takaisinkutsua, joista 2 viimeisen kolmen vuoden aikana. Takaisinkutsu ei koske jokaista autoa: tarkista oman autosi tilanne merkkihuollosta valmistenumerolla.

In this case, a foreign object could become loose within the transmission and cause damage to internal components. As a result, the vehicle could lose propulsion and it may not be possible to completely rule out the wheels locking up. This would increase the risk of an accident.
