Over time, this could cause corrosion, blockages, damage to hoses and joints, and coolant leaks, reducing cooling performance and potentially causing the engine or hybrid components to overheat and leading to reduced vehicle performance or loss of propulsion assistance. Moreover, a coolant leak could also cause an electrical short circuit in the system, increasing the risk of fire.
